Where are we ?
If you are travelling to see Kilmoyley's famous club grounds that was once described as "An Oasis in the middle of the desert" you will need to take the following routes : From Limerick - Take the N21 to Abbeyfeale and proceed to Listowel. Before you get to Listowel town, turn left on the R557 and proceed to Lixnaw passing through Finuge. Turn right at Lixnaw to go through the village and proceed to go for Ballyheigue. After eight miles you will come to Lerric Cross and you will find a Quickpick supermarket on your left. Proceed straight ahead and turn right off the main road and head straight up the hill. Kilmoyley sportsfield is a mile along this road. From Cork - Take the N22 to Killarney and proceed to Tralee along the N21. In Tralee continue north to Ardfert along the R551. Continue along the R551 to Ballyheigue for three miles and you will see a signpost to turn right for Kilmoyley. Continue along this road for two miles until you reach Kilmoyley church on your right (and An Tóchar Bán pub on your left). Turn right at the church and continue along this road for Half a mile and Kilmoyley sportsfield is on your left.
